Rapper and business man Jay-z, is reportedly in talks with Prince's representatives in a bid to buy the late rock star's unreleased songs.The songs were discovered at Paisley Park after the singer's death.
According to TMZ, Jay-Z met with Prince’s sister, Tyka, and her husband, Maurice Phillips, weeks ago. The rapper flew Tyka and Maurice to New York to meet with him.
It was further revealed that Jay-Z made an offer of around $40 million. Tyka who shares same parent with Prince will have to get sign-off from all the brothers and sisters, in addition to the trust that is managing the estate before Jay-Z can get full streaming rights and other rights to get the overall deal.
